Fabulously soft, very delicate super soft white Geelong Lambswool Poncho. It drapes beautifully and is semi transparent, great with a summer dress or wedding dress. It is knitted with a fine yarn to make a lighter, more delicate wrap than our usual ponchos and it has a supersoft luxurious handle in the "queen of lambswool" from Merino sheep. Looks good with an evening dress or as a wedding cover-up, just add a broach or flower.
The summer weight Poncho is handcrafted on a vintage knitting machine in our studio in Greenwich, London and hand finished. It is then gently washed and felted to achieve a wrap which hangs and folds luxuriously. All Baker Welch Studio orders are carefully wrapped in tissue paper before being placed in recyclable card boxes and posted Royal Mail First Class for UK addresses or International Standard Mail for addresses outside the UK.
